The web site www.lecrinvalley.com was set up in March 2003 in response to a number of house owners who wanted to sell, but felt there was no effective mechanism for selling property in the Valley. Our aim in establishing the web site is to provide a high quality and professional service both to buyers and vendors which, in addition to creating a marketing outlet for property, provides clear and unambiguous legal and financial guidance to both parties.

In its first twelve months, Lecrinvalley.com has sold 25 properties ranging from a tiny ruin to a very large 6 bedroom house with swimming pool. In that time we have seen a clear shift in the type of properties which generate most enquiries; there has been a significant increase in the amount of interest in the site and there is every reason to project that the turnover of properties in the next 12 months will be even greater. Initially the interest was in small properties needing a limited amount of restoration to bring them up to a good standard and most purchases were in the region of 50,000 to 100,000 euros. More recently there has been a significant increase in people wanting fully restored properties costing between 150,000 and 400,000 euros or more and others wanting to buy plots of land for building.

We are very interested in expanding the web site and obtaining more properties of all types - in order to keep up with the demand. We are selective however, and do not take all properties which are offered to us for sale. This is the only way we can maintain our quality service to ensure problem free transfer of ownership. If you have a property with clear title, a perfect escritura, or one which can be remedied without too many problems, and you are prepared to price realistically, we would like to hear from you.
