We came to the Lecrin valley 9 years ago and have owned a house here for more than 7years. We know that the beauty and tranquillity of this area appeals to those who live and work in the more urban and pressured environment of northern Europe. The people of Lecrin are proud of their valley and very welcoming to visitors; their lives are changing to fit the demands of the 21st century, but, like us, they are aware of the need to balance the demands of tourism with traditional values and pace of life in rural Andalucia.
